lbstooz.com converts pounds to ounces and a few nearby units. It needs barely anything from you, and this page says precisely what.
The gist
All the calculating runs in your browser, on your device. The numbers you enter never come to us, no account is involved, and once your visit ends there is nothing about it kept on our side.
What gets recorded
Only the ordinary request details a web server logs. Loading a page here writes a line with an IP address, the page and time, your browser's user-agent, and any referring link. That log keeps the site running and helps us spot abuse; it carries no name and is aged out within about a month.
Cookies and visitor counts
Switch cookies off and the converter runs just the same, because it needs none. Anything we might set would only keep the page working or hold a preference. If we tally visitors, the tool we use reports totals, not the movements of any one person.
Ads
No outside ads appear here right now. Were we to add them, an ad network might set cookies and see your IP, so we would name the providers and link their terms before turning anything on.
Your rights
Turning down non-essential cookies changes nothing about how the site works. Where laws such as the GDPR or CCPA apply, you can ask what personal data we hold and request deletion; because we hold no profiles there is usually nothing to return, but you are welcome to ask.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and we keep it patched. Nothing is ever perfectly secure, but there is almost nothing sensitive here to guard.
Children
lbstooz.com is for a general audience, not for under-13s, and we do not knowingly gather anything from them.
Changes
Revisions land on this page with a fresh date, and anything significant we will state plainly.
